The Lowell Americana Project invests in the local community by way of creating jobs and on-site training in collaboration with neighborhood organizations such as The Boys and Girls Club, The Verhelst Recovery House, The Renaissance House and other charitable organizations and local business. Erie Street, once abandoned, now brims with life, thanks to the efforts of the Lowell Americana Project that has not only revitalized the area but also produced events, such as Rock for Rehab, to increase awareness and funding for important community causes. The annual event, The Lowell Americana Music Festival, brings together thousands of people in celebration of classic American music, tail fin cars, antique motorcycles, and Americana lifestyle.
